About Us

NP Studios is located in Ashland, Wisconsin - on the south shore of Lake Superior. The studio is operated in conjunction with Northern Photographics, LLC, which offers digital and film photo processing on-site.  Northern Photographics is a full service photo processor.

Our studio is setup for portrait photography and we also shoot on location in the general area.  Images are processed in-house with our own equipment including a wide format inkjet printer capable of poster sized images.

Dale A. Thomas is the principal photographer and studio owner.  Dale has been a  professional photographer for over 10 years.  He started as a nature photographer and has expanded his services to include photography of events, portraits, seniors and weddings. We also photograph athletic teams, graduation, proms and other special events.
